If you put it in the microwave for 45 seconds as instructed, and wear it on before a run, it really does help warm up your tendons and ankle for the run. I used to frequently sprain my ankle before. But with the Revivosox, I use heat compression before a run and now during my runs I do not experience any injury. Just pop it back into the freezer for 1-2 hours and you're ready for cold therapy after that run. Really great product.
